Abstract

Yorkshire Air Museum is based on a Second World War airfield, famed for being one of the only airfields to host French pilots from 1944-1945. They have a small number of permanent staff and a large team of volunteers who help with aircraft restoration, collections cataloguing and visitor experience including providing tours.
